Rhonda Navarro

Managing Broker
Rhonda Navarro is the managing broker for Pacific Grove Property Management. She has been serving the property management industry since 1999. She is passionate about the housing industry and tenant landlord rights. She has spent her career educating herself to CA law. Her passion was shared with her community serving as President elect and President for the National Association of Residential Property Managers. Through her presidency she was able to help her community through supporting Casa of Monterey and the Monterey Housing Alliance.

Bridging the gap between a homeowner and tenant is what her goal is. She has been meeting that goal since 1999!

Chris Navarro

Property Manager

After a combined 25 years as licensed property managers, Chris and his wife and Broker, Rhonda, started Pacific Grove Rentals 2014. Chris moved his family from Monterey to Pacific Grove in 2009 and knew that this charming town was where he wanted to plant his professional roots as well. His previous career in construction adds to his ability to manage your home and vendors with authority. He specializes in both long-and-short term rentals throughout the Peninsula.

Chris prides himself on providing outstanding personal property management services. Acting as the company's property manager Chris is hands on and works diligently with his staff and vendors to maintain your most valuable asset.

Chris has three boys, Michael, Christian and Cameron. Pacific Grove helps keep their busy lifestyles full of fun and adventure. Bike riding the Monterey recreation trail, hiking Bur Sur coastline, shopping Ocean Street in Carmel, skim boarding at Lover's Point Beach, or ending a great summer day with the sunset at Point Pinos, the activities are endless. Chris cannot wait to share the place they call home with all who desire to live the central coast lifestyle.

Melissa Matthews

Bookkeeper / Office Manager

Melissa Matthews enjoys traveling, the outdoors, riding motorcycles, family and having a relationship with her Creator. She has been in some form of Property Management and Real Estate for over 15 years. She was a Regional Manager for 10 of those years and took part in bookkeeping, tenant resolution, collecting rents and organizing a dynamic team to say the least. She helped owners and tenants understand their place in the Property Management industry.

She realized very early on that the tenant and landlord relationship is at the heart of a good stable community. She understands the importance of the bottom line for owners and the security tenants are seeking. She’s recently become a resident of Pacific Grove and is excited to take part in helping owners and tenants continue to bridge the landlord tenant gap through the use of our management team.

Chad Stephens

Bookkeeper

Chad came to work for Pacific Grove Rentals at the start of 2019 as our bookkeeper, with the hopes of attaining his real estate license to become a property manager. As of the beginning of 2021, Chad has transitioned into an assistant property manager position with the company, with hopes of becoming a licensed agent by the end of 2021!

Since his arrival, he has learned the intricacies of property management, such as: communicating professionally with the folks we do business with (property owners, vendors, tenants); learned the basics of bookkeeping for a small business; became familiar with two robust softwares; and has made some friends in the community as well!

In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time with his loved ones, watching the Oakland Raiders, and exercising.

Chad is native to California and has lived in Pacific Grove for two years now, where he’s happy to call our “hometown” his home.
